MACY, 7TH GRADE | SING! ST. JOHNS CHILDREN’S CHOIR, ACTING & IMPROV: STAGE 2

Q: What do you think is one of your strengths?
A: Turning songs into piano songs; playing chords and teaching other people how to play the piano chords for songs and sing the songs.

Q: What programs have you been involved with through Cathedral Park Performing Arts Collective?
A: I’m taking (SING! St. Johns Children’s) Choir because I love to sing and because it has become a tradition. [Macy has been a member of the choir since 2015.] I’m taking improv because I really, really love improv. I don’t like acting from a script, I like making stuff up.

Q: What are some of your other interests?
A: Writing and drawing and organizing my house and playing music and singing.

Q: What are you first memories and experiences with music?
A: My first music was when I was two, my mom signed me up for Music Together and then at school there was music once a week. I started taking piano lessons on January 15, 2014.

Q: How do you see yourself being involved with music and theatre in the future and throughout your life?
A: Improv I just do for fun, I don’t want to make it a career, and music, I’ll write more songs and have more performances with my band “The Rainbow Guitar Straps.” I’m going to keep taking piano and guitar lessons.

Q: Who are your favorite music artists?
A: Taylor Swift and The Beatles
